Empire Magazine has unleashed an assault of amazing new magazine covers featuring six of the main characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Empire has also revealed that the covers would make use of lenticular 3D technology, so if you’re into that kind of thing — as well as being a die-hard Star Wars fan — then you should definitely snatch them up. But in the meantime, you can peruse them in the gallery below.
The first cover features Rey (Daisy Ridley) and the already super popular (and super cute) droid BB-8, while cover number two has Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie all decked out as Captain Phasma. Then we have Finn (John Boyega) looking all heroic and stuff while wielding a blue lightsaber. Boyega told Empire: “I held it in my hand and I just felt, you know, the clouds open up and the white doves come flying down.”
Up next is Oscar Isaac as dashing Rebel X-wing fighter pilot Poe Dameron, followed by Adam Driver as the movie’s villainous Kylo Ren, from The First Order. The actor said of the character that he’s “never thought of [him] as an evil person.” Last but not least is our favorite rascal space smuggler Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and his faithful furry sidekick and BFF Chewbacca, played by Peter Mayhew. Check them out below, and let us know what you think.
Directed by J.J. Abrams (who promised he cut down on those pesky lensflares), Star Wars: The Force Awakens will open in movie theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
