Along with a new set of toys on Force Friday II came a new set of revelations.
The Supreme Leader Snoke — who has been shrouded in mystery thus far, save for a cryptic hologram in The Force Awakens — was unveiled in all his figurine glory by Hasbro, perhaps giving us a taste of what’s to come in the next installment of the Star Wars saga.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi — hitting theatres Dec. 15 — is set to explore the conflict between the Resistance and the First Order while following the adventures of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Rey (Daisy Ridley).
Writer-director Rian Johnson had previously said that the ominous character Snoke — the Supreme Leader of the First Order — is not one who figures too deeply in the movie, but at least now we can get a proper look at him thanks to the nifty toy.
Sadly, the official description for the 6-inch figure (which goes for $34.99) doesn’t give too much away about the villain:
Sitting atop an evil regime as Supreme Leader Snoke of the First Order, this 6-inch scale The Black Series figure boasts premium quality and impressive articulation. Comes with movie-inspired throne and accessory. Available exclusively at Game Stop.
There’s also an Elite Praetorian Guard figure described as a “loyal crimson-clad guard” who defends Snoke.
Snoke, who has not been seen before in any previous merchandise from The Force Awakens, is sold exclusively at GameStop. Tell us what you think about the figurine below.
