It seems like lately we've been hearing less about who will be taking part in Doctor Who's 50th anniversary and far more about who won't be. Case in point: We've just heard about yet another major cast member from the new series who claims they won't be back. But who?
Sadly, despite misunderstood previous quotes, Freema Agyeman has ruled out a return for her companion, Martha Jones. Says Agyeman, "I got misquoted hideously once saying that there are some rumblings going on about being involved in the 50th in terms of the drama. It's not. It's in terms of conventions and interviews and things like that, which we're all doing stuff to promote the 50th. We have to. It's the 'Doctor Who' family, and we want to."
No Martha also likely means no Mickey, too, since the characters were revealed as being married at the end of David Tennant's run as the title character. So if we take all this news at face value, it means that Rose, Mickey, Captain Jack and Martha are all out, with only a probably that David Tennant will be in.
So who the heck is going to be in this thing? Or do you think all the actors are just fibbing at the behest of one Steven Moffat?
