There are a lot of squad mates to love in BioWare’s original Mass Effect trilogy. The video game series is full of unforgettable characters, but few stand out among your squad mates as much as the Salarian scientist Mordin Solus who fans were introduced to in Mass Effect 2. Mordin was a complex, heartfelt character that added a fascinating perspective to the story while making you laugh and cry depending on your game choices. He also had quite a good singing voice! Somehow all of that Mordin magic has been captured by company Sanshee in an adorable and entertaining collector’s plush toy.

The Mordin Solus collector’s plush is the second plush toy in Sanshee’s Mass Effect collector’s series. By squeezing the toy’s left hand, Mordin sings parts of four songs including the classic scientist Salarian Gilbert and Sullivan tune from Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3’s Krogan queen. The singing is surprisingly loud and clear, and will transport you back to all those conversations you had with Mordin on the Normandy in your games.

The toy comes with more than just singing capabilities too. You get a collector’s card complete with an adorable Mordin illustration and short bio as well as a small blue seashell accessory that’s magnetic. The seashell can be attached and removed from Mordin’s right hand so no matter what happened to Mordin in your Mass Effect game at least this Salarian ends up with a seashell to do with as he wishes!

At $39.99 on Sanshee’s website, Mordin can soon be your companion for all your adventures. It’s an impressive plush from Sanshee that makes me think fittingly that it had to be them to bring us this toy. Someone else might have gotten it wrong!
