The CW has released the first clip from the Supergirl Season 2 premiere, which introduces us to Kara’s famous Kryptonian cousin in a fun action-packed scene.
Supes (Tyler Hoechlin) will make his grand entrance in the Arrowverse right off the bat with “The Adventures of Supergirl” when the show returns for its sophomore season on Oct. 10, and not only are we going to see Kal-El make his triumphant return to the small screen, but the episode will also introduce Mon-El, played Chris Wood.
The clip below starts with Clark Kent having a phone conversation with Daily Planet editor extraordinaire Perry White (who is off-screen, by the way) before the Man of Steel springs into action to help his cousin Kara (Melissa Benoist) following the explosion on a spacecraft. Gosh. I just had all the major Christopher Reeve feels for one moment there. Have a look below, and let us know if you're looking foward to Superman flying into National City on Supergirl.
When a new threat emerges in National City, Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) teams up with her cousin, Clark Kent/Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin), to stop it. Kara is thrilled to have family in town but it leaves Alex (Chyler Leigh) feeling a bit left out. Meanwhile, Hank (David Harewood) and Supergirl are stunned by the pod that came crashing to Earth.
