After a new extended trailer for Supernatural Season 13 (yes, THIRTEEN) was released earlier on Thursday, The CW doubled up the promotion with new still shots from the premiere episode. The Winchesters have conquered angels, demons, Satan, and even the living concept of Darkness itself, so what's left? A twisted version of fatherhood, of course.

The new images focus considerably on Jack, played by Alexander Calvert. You see, Jack may well be the anti-Christ, as he's the son of Lucifer and a human woman, something they weren't quite able to prevent from happening last season. With Lucifer locked in a parallel universe and Crowley dead, Jack is the Winchesters' problem, and it looks from these images like some angels, led by Michael, aren't going to be too happy about that (and a confrontation won't go well for them).

Check out the gallery below the official synopsis for Season 13. Supernatural returns Thursday, Oct. 12, at 8 p.m. on The CW.

"The thrilling and terrifying journey of the Winchester brothers continues as SUPERNATURAL enters its thirteenth season. Sam and Dean have spent their lives on the road, battling supernatural threats that include everything from the demon that killed their mother to the usual vampires, ghosts, shape-shifters, angels and fallen gods rampaging over the land. They've come out on top with the help of allies, both human and supernatural, but every victory comes at a price."
