Remember that possible Sandman TV series we told you about last September, the one in development from Supernatural creator Eric Kripke? Neil Gaiman wasn't going to be involved in the project, but still, we were pumped. Now it's time to get unpumped.
While walking the red carpet before taking part in a Supernatural panel at PaleyFest yesterday, Kripke told The Hollywood Reporter that the possible series didn't make the cut this season. He said it—
" ... just didn't quite happen this season through nobody's fault, and hopefully we can do it again in the future."
Since Kripke has said that Sandman "is without a doubt my all-time favorite comic," we're going to pin our hopes on that "hopefully" and keep our fingers crossed that the series might fly during a future TV season.
How about you?
