Fans of Funko and their ever growing line of Pop! Vinyls, Dorbz, bobbleheads, plushes, various action figures, T-shirts, and apparels can rejoice, because Christmas has come a tiny bit early this year with this awesome tour of the toy company’s new HQ located in Everett, Washington.
As you can see in the guided tour below, SYFY WIRE met with Funko Director of Marketing Mark Robben, who showed us around the spiffy (and magical) new place, which opened this past August. Robben led us through what must be the second happiest place on Earth, right after Disneyland, and showed off Funko's bazillion collectibles and larger-than-life figures. It’s a theme park! It’s a museum! It’s a store!
There's everything from a life-size classic Batmobile based on Funko’s Dorbz Ridez line found in their DC section, to a New York City set of their Marvel section with none other than Stan “The Man” Lee (who also has his own line of figures). Then there's a Tokyo section featuring not only Godzilla but also anime, video games, and horror icons. And, of course, there's a section for Star Wars fans that's bound to send anyone to Hoth heaven. There's even a Harry Potter section that recreates Diagon Alley.
Now that you’ve had a wonderful time taking a tour of Funko’s new HQ, have a look below at their new Wetmore Forest collection featuring totes adorbz Pacific Northwest-themed monsters. And you can also check out this very handy Funko gift guide, just in time for the holidays.
