After huge anticipation bolstered by strong reviews and tons of teases by its creative team, Westworld’s second season was met with tons of buzz from fans. After the HBO show spent a season exploring the Western amusement park and pointing out the others that could possibly exist, the premiere of the follow-up season never slowed down.

People were amped about returning and finding out what happened post-finale:

But mostly, fans were just happy to get back into the universe and have some of their questions answered (or, more likely, met with more questions). The 69-minute episode let everyone know that what they knew last season was done and dead, and that a new order was rising. “What is real?” asks a character in the opening scene of the episode. To fans, all of it.

After the success of the premiere, the only thing left for Westworld to do is to keep the intensity going next Sunday.
