"This season is very f*****," The Magicians executive producer Sera Gamble candidly quipped about Season 3 of the SYFY show at New York Comic Con on Saturday. Season 2 left fans wondering what a world without magic would look like. Will magic ever return? Why is Julia, played by Stella Maeve, the only one with magic still? Gamble said it's "not a simple answer" for Julia's powers.

With so many questions up in the air, Gamble and executive producer John McNamara showed fans an exclusive clip of what to expect from Season 3, and though not much was revealed, we know Jason Ralph's character, Quentin, and Julia are trying to find a cure to return magic. Julia says it's "more challenging" than she thought trying to get magic back in the world. Alice, portrayed by Olivia Taylor Dudley, really questions her relationship with magic after dying so many times.

When Arjun Gupta, who plays Penny, was asked why so many fans have connected with The Magicians, he boiled it down to one thing: "Good writing." He also went on to reveal that "spoiler alert" Penny won't have a comfortable wardrobe for Season 3.

Hale Appleman, who plays Eliot, was asked what draws him to his character, to which he replied it was Eliot's "confidence."

Gamble also chimed in on the difficult decision of having an unwanted pregnancy, saying Julia's abortion decision is a true "human story."

Jason Ralph brought the panel to a close with the sagely wisdom: "You will be the best magician by being the best person."
