We’re two days away from the premiere of Spike’s The Mist, and to whet our appetite for the upcoming series, a batch of new character featurettes have made their merry way online.

Hailing from creator and showrunner Christian Torpe (Rita) and based on Stephen King’s novella of the same name, Spike’s The Mist stars Darren Pettie, Frances Conroy, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Dan Butler, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Morgan Spector, Okezie Morro and Alyssa Sutherland.

With a 10-episode first-season order debuting June 22 at 10 p.m. on Spike, the upcoming series will follow the denizens of Bridgeville, Maine (King’s locale of choice). When they “find themselves engulfed by a foreboding mist containing a myriad of inexplicable and bizarre threats, their humanity is put to the test.” You can meet three of the show’s characters in the latest featurettes below, starting with Adrian Garff, played by Russell Posner.

The spotlight is also put on the soldier character of Bryan Hunt (Okezie Morro), who has “no memory of who he is or where he came from.” Question is: Is it because of the Mist, or is there something else at work? Hmm ... Food for thought. In the final video, we meet Nathalie Raven, played by American Horror Story’s Frances Conroy. Not only do we delve into the show’s characters with these featurettes, but they also offer plenty of cool new footage! Are you looking forward to the new series?

Spike’s The Mist centers around a small town family that is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout, an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends, and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.
