In just two months, writer/director Brad Bird's long-awaited sequel to The Incredibles — one of Pixar's most beloved films and one of the best superhero movies ever — will finally hit theaters, and today Disney and Pixar have unleashed a new trailer to get us even more excited.

Incredibles 2 picks up basically right where the first film left off, but with the dynamics of the Parr family shifting in the wake of their re-emergence as a superhero team. This time around, Bob/Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) is a stay-at-home Dad, doing chores and discovering the many and varied powers of baby Jack-Jack, while Helen/Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) is out fighting evil and working with a business tycoon and superhero fan (Bob Odenkirk) to return "supers" to public favor. Of course, this is all complicated by the presence of supervillains like the Underminder (John Ratzenberger) and a still-mysterious new villain.

In the new trailer, we don't get much more of the film's plot (that villain is still being kept under wraps), but we do get a little more detail brushed in, particularly around how the family is evolving. Bob is confused as to why he didn't get the offer to bring supers back, while Helen and Bob are both determined to make the new arrangement work so their children have the option to either be costume heroes or not. Meanwhile, Jack-Jack is evolving at such a rate than even Edna Moda might have trouble keeping up.

In addition to Nelson and Hunter, Incredibles 2 also features returning voice stars Samuel L. Jackson (Frozone), Sarah Vowell (Violet), and Bird himself as Edna Mode, along with new cast members Catherine Keener, Sophia Bush, Jonathan Banks, Isabella Rossellini, and Huck Milner.

To complement the trailer, Pixar also released this new poster earlier in the week, featuring the entire family suited up and ready for action.
