Writers are still hard at work on the script for the next sequel to Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. It's been 20 years in the making, and both Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are set to reprise their "most excellent" roles. But they're not the only familiar faces you'll see again.
William Sadler, who played Death, aka the Grim Reaper, in 1991's Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, confirmed to MovieWeb that he'd spoken to Winter about possibly returning for the third film.
"I'm not sure if it's a done deal yet. I know they're trying to write The Grim Reaper in. (Writer-star) Alex (Winter) said, 'How could we do this without the Reaper?' I'm hopeful. I'd love to go back and play with those guys again. That was one of the most fun roles I've done. I'll be there in a heartbeat, if they want to do it."
Bill & Ted 3 will supposedly follow the title characters as they try to compose a song righteous enough to save the world. Back in March, Reeves revealed that he'd already read a draft of the script and gave it his stamp of approval.
Should they try to fit the Grim Reaper in for one last adventure?
