Michael Bay's Transformers: The Last Knight joins a formidable lineup of tentpole sci-fi flicks this year, and it needs to seriously power up its marketing campaign or suffer getting hopelessly lost in the summer shuffle.

Here's a new TV spot titled "Stay and Fight" that adds some new footage and dialogue but still doesn't quite bowl us over with shock and awe. Plot details have been murky at best, with Optimus Prime returning to Earth after discovering a devastated Cyberton and seeking a mysterious artifact tied to King Arthur's sorcerer, Merlin.

Meanwhile, rumors are swirling that the humongous orbiting entity seen in the trailer and this new spot is none other than Unicron, the villainous planet eater voiced by Orson Welles in 1986's The Transformers: The Movie. That's totally him, right? Now that would be awesome.

Starring Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Hopkins, Laura Haddock, Isabella Moner, Stanley Tucci and John Turturro, Transformers: The Last Knight stomps into theaters on June 23, 2017. Have a look at this fiery new promo and tell us if you're looking forward to the spectacle and 'splosions.
