Two of the most epic voice actors in the world, Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy), have teamed up for the animated web series Transformers: Power of the Primes. Their voices will feature heavily in the third and final chapter, a joint venture between Hasbro and Machinima. Like the first two seasons of the series —Transformers: Combiner Wars and Transformers: Titans Return — it will air on Verizon's go90 streaming service.
Hamill already appeared in the season finale ("All Things Must Pass") for Titans Return as Megatronus. The character is one of the first-ever Decepticons, who was exiled from Cyberton after killing one of the first-ever Primes. The Star Wars icon has had a very successful voice acting career over the years, especially with his maniacal take on the Joker that began with Batman: The Animated Series. Perlman is also well known for his time spent in animation thanks to his deep and distinctive voice, which has brought characters like Slade (Teen Titans) and The Lich (Adventure Time) to vivid life.
Power of the Primes takes place after the death of Optimus Prime, with the remaining Transformers teaming up to defeat Megatronus from wiping out their kind. Along the way, they'll search for the insanely powerful Requiem Blaster and unearth mysteries about their home planet of Cyberton before a new Prime is chosen to lead them.
