The summer heat must be driving up the temps on Falling Skies and True Blood, which both sizzle with new developments this week. Meanwhile, there's a double helping of Destination Truth for its season-five premiere.

Also, evil doppelgangers cause trouble on Eureka, it's all about Lauren on Lost Girl, Jackson becomes a problem on Teen Wolf, Zapp Brannigan is back on Futurama, Morgan Freeman questions death on Through the Wormhole, a hypnotist may be able to help Charlie communicate on Saving Hope, Wilfred has baby issues on Wilfred, it's a trip to Roswell, N.M., on Chasing UFOs, Syfy's latest original has Andrew Lee Potts battling vamps in True Bloodthirst, and John Noble returns for a second season of Dark Matters: Twisted But True.

Monday, July 9

Eureka (Syfy) 9 p.m. - "Double Take"

After last week's cliffhanger, it looks like double trouble for the folks in Eureka in the series' penultimate episode. Meanwhile, the town's communication systems go on the fritz thanks to SmartDust issues.

When a man with a serious injury can't remember who he is, a hypnotist is called. Meanwhile, that hypnotist may just be able to help Charlie communicate with Alex.

Doggies and babies ... which is cuter? Wilfred thinks he knows the answer.

True Bloodthirst (Syfy) 9 p.m.

Primeval's Andrew Lee Potts stars in this Syfy original movie, which takes place in the near future, when a diminishing human population and a vampire population live in an uneasy peace thanks to the development of a synthetic blood substitute. Hummmm ... sound a little familiar? Anyway, when a new super man-sized bat vampire species threatens both races, they're forced to join forces to take on the new predator. The movie also stars Neil Jackson, Claudia Bassols and Ben Lambert.

Dark Matters: Twisted But True (Science) 9 p.m. - "Lindbergh; Suicide Song; Living Organ Donor"

Season-two premiere! Fringe's John Noble hosts this look at the odd but true. Did Charles Lindbergh conquer death? Could a song be responsible for 18 suicides? Did one man donate his body to science ... while he was still alive?
