By now, you've probably heard that J.J. Abrams has been announced as the writer and director of Star Wars: Episode IX, replacing Colin Treverrow after he parted ways with Lucasfilm. Abrams co-wrote and directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Twitter has had some interesting reactions to the news. The overwhelming consensus? Abrams is a safe choice, but he'll do a good job with the movie.
