Which cast member of The Inhumans can’t drive a car? Which of them can't drive on the right side of the road? Which one was shocked to learn her power was “magic hair?” Okay, the last one we all know is Medusa. But still, in our Comic-Con interviews below, we get to meet the cast and hear how excited they are about their new powers. Even the magic hair.
The Inhumans is an upcoming eight-episode ABC series about the royal family of Inhumans, people infected by a virus created by the Kree alien race in order to turn them into soldiers for the Kree's war with the Skrulls. You may have seen this in another Marvel series, Agents of SHIELD. But despite having the same Marvel Comics origin, The Inhumans isn’t a spin-off. As star Ken Leung says below, “We’re trying to create something that’s our own beast.”
And there’s plenty of beasts, including an improbably large dog and a slew of people with violent powers. This required a lot of CGI. As Iwan Rheon (formerly the reprehensible bastard Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones) says, there's “a certain degree of imagination that you need to bring with you. I call it ‘pretend’ acting.”
As you can see below, Anson Mount, Serinda Swan, Isabelle Cornish, Mike Moh, and Eme Ikwuakor also have more to say about the upcoming show and their work together. Expect to see the first two episodes when The Inhumansbecomes the first TV series to debut on IMAX theaters (!) on September 1, 2017, before ending up on the small screen.
