Peter Jackson has released his second production video from the set of The Hobbit, but it's not the work diary we've seen in the first production video: This one is a more intimate look at the Hobbit Whisperer and his crew.
The production video gives us a roundup of Jackson's peeps and how they're spending their much-needed break during the shoots of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again. (Best line, via Conan Stevens, who plays Azog the Orc: "I'm looking forward to getting on the drink. I'm not going to get a bad reputation, because they already know what I'm like.")
But while most of the crew are visiting family or relaxing on a beach, PJ is hard at work. Instead of sleeping in late, he's working on different aspects of production, preproduction and post-production, all at the same time.
We also get to see Andy Serkis in action, not just as Gollum but as a second-unit director in his own right. We figure that now there are no more Gollum-related projects left, Serkis is expanding his career options.
Check it out.
