It was truly sad day for The Walking Dead fandom, as superfan Lisa Williams passed away from cancer on Tuesday, the show's official Twitter account confirmed.

In a tweet that paid tribute, the show posted photos of Williams with Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), along with the message:

"We’re deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Lisa Williams, who was one of the most passionate people (and #TWD fans) you could meet. The outpouring of love that’s coming with this news goes to show how much of an impact she had on #TWDFamily. You will be missed..."

Lisa was a regular guest at Walking Dead conventions and other related events, to the point where she was basically a member of the cast.

Stars Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) and Morgan also took to social media to pay their heartfelt respects to Williams.

"Gonna miss u Lisa. You were always so cool and always had a smile for everyone," wrote Reedus on Instagram, including three heart emojis at the end of the post.
