The Eisner Award-winning writer Brian Michael Bendis (Age of Ultron, Ultimate Spider-Man), has been blessing readers with some of the most compelling stories in comics for the past three decades, and now he's found a home for his intricate storytelling in a new time-bending title.
Bendis wrote two issues for the new Marvel Legacy maxi-series, Marvel Generations, one dealing with young genius inventor Riri Williams (Ironheart) and a future mystical Tony Stark, and the other probing the past in a provocative Peter Parker/Miles Morales encounter.
The 10-issue anthology sets out to examine certain iconic Marvel heroes' journeys of personal exploration as they hop into the time stream for a rendezvous with other familiar iterations of their classic costumed crimefighters.
Bendis's Generations: The Iron features art by Marco Rudy, and his other book in the series, Generations: The Spiders, showcases pencils by Ramon Perez. Both books were released in September.
SYFY WIRE recently sat down with Bendis to discuss his involvement in the project that pairs legacy heroes with their alt-time counterparts, and the intoxicating results of those momentous meet-ups.
Have a watch and tell us if you've enjoyed any of the Marvel Generations titles yet.
