All good things must end.
The conclusion to Dark Knight III: The Master Race, the ninth and final issue of the DC Comics blockbuster limited series penned by Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello with art by Andy Kubert, Klaus Janson and about a 475 different guest cover artists, drops at your LCS Wednesday. The series, which debuted in late 2015, comes to a conclusion in a way that Miller calls "very satisfying."
In an exclusive video interview with Syfy Wire contributing editor Mike Avila, Frank Miller delves into the story he and Azzarello set out to tell, which was at its core a passing of the torch from one generation of heroes to another. The legendary creator also detailed how he views the essence of each chapter in the Dark Knight mythos he created and what he set out to do each time he stepped back into the sandbox.
And in usual Miller fashion, he does it with candor.
Here's part of our sit-down with Miller, and don't worry, it's spoiler-free. Dark Knight III: The Master Race #9 lands in comic book stores Wednesday, June 7 -- check it out and come back and hit the comments to let us know what you thought of it!
