If there is one thing we learned while talking with the cast of Kingsman: The Golden Circle, it's that they all enjoyed playing in this sandbox.
The second film in the franchise based on Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' spy spoof comic debuts in theaters this Friday and delivers some serious star power. How much star power, you ask? The cast includes four Academy Award-winning actors (Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges and the resuscitated Colin Firth) and five Oscar winners in total, counting Sir Elton John (he won a Golden Dude for co-writing the music of The Lion King). Throw in Game of Thrones and Narcos star Pedro Pascal, Emily Watson and some guy named Channing Tatum, and you've got a 'too many stars for one movie poster' problem.
They each play various roles of varying screen time, but once you see the film, it will become apparent that several characters are there to set the stage for a more prominent part down the road. When SYFY WIRE talked with director Matthew Vaughn in London, he revealed he has the story he wants to tell to cap his Kingsman trilogy.
Watch the video below to see what he said, and then to hear what his actors think about doing a third chapter in the spy-fi series.
