It's almost time to boldly go where no one has gone before again. CBS has released the main title sequence for Star Trek: Discovery before the highly anticipated show's premiere tonight.
The one-and-a-half-minute array features raw schematics of the new ship, crew's spacesuits, and the iconic phaser gun. The art and pacing instill that feeling you get from fan favorite Netflix shows like Daredevil and Orange Is the New Black that you will want to sit through more often than not.
Jeff Russo and his 60-piece orchestra honors Alexander Courage's original score and creates something new with a passion that will set a dramatic tone for the show.
The new and always diverse Star Trek series debuts its first episode on CBS All Access tonight and will air on CBS broadcast at 8:30/7:30c. Be sure to stick around for the after-show, Talking Trek, on CBS All Access.
Don’t forget to report back to SYFY Wire after the premiere and check out our recap.
