Producer and director Dean Devlin sat down with SYFY WIRE's Jordan Zakarin at New York Comic Con to discuss the upcoming season of The Librarians along with some news on the Stargate reboot and a little foot-in-mouth disease when it comes to David Tennant.
On The Librarians, Devlin says The Prophecy has ended and that means things are about to get ... interesting. "This season is for the fans," Devlin explains, "Things get much more personal this year."
He went on to offer information that will either thrill or terrify fans. "Last year, it was about the consequences of using magic. This year it's about the consequences of being a Librarian." We know what's happened to past Librarians. Should we be worried?
Devlin also has some news regarding the Stargate movie reboot and an upcoming project he's working on with Stargate's Jonathan Glassner. The phrase "swords and sandals" was used.
The best part, however, is the anecdote about his meeting with David Tennant. Devlin directed the upcoming Bad Samaritan and met with Tennant to discuss him playing one of the leads.
We'll let him tell the story.
The Librarians returns for Season 4 on December 20 on TNT.
