If SYFY's Ghost Wars already had you spooked with the creepy taster at SDCC then prepare to get deeper under the covers, because the official trailer is here and it’s all kinds of bone-chilling.
In this extended clip, we get to see more of the ghouls that are terrorizing those living in the desolate-looking Alaskan town of Port Moore. It seems to be the kind of place where even popping to the store for some milk in the middle of the day can prove troublesome, as the undead roam freely just about everywhere, giving residents no place to hide.
The trailer also shows more of Roman Mercer (played by Avan Jogia) as he begins to try and wrap his head around the scary locals and why it is that so many of them are bearing a grudge from beyond the grave.
The supernatural series features a stellar cast including Vincent D'Onofrio, Meat Loaf, Avan Jogia, and Kandyse McClure, all of who recently discussed the gore-filled show in a sit-down interview with SYFY.
In case you weren’t already up to speed, here's the official synopsis:
Set in a remote Alaskan town that has been overrun by paranormal forces, the series focuses on local outcast Roman Mercer who must overcome the town’s prejudices and his own personal demons if he’s to harness his repressed psychic powers and save everyone from the mass haunting that’s threatening to destroy them all.
From creator Simon Barry (Van Helsing, Continuum), Ghost Wars' 13-episode season premieres on October 5 at 10/9c. Tell us what you think about this spine-tingling trailer in the comments section below.
