What's better than a big gun and a bigger glass of whiskey? For the cast and creator of Wynonna Earp, very little, except maybe the chance to tell the story of a pregnant superhero on prime time.
During the show's second season, Wynonna discovers she is pregnant. This wasn't originally part of the plan for the year, but Melanie Scrofano's real-life pregnancy was worked into the script and turned into the season's biggest plot point. The cast, creative team, and fans alike have all talked about how important it was to tell this story.
Scrofano (Wynonna), Shamier Anderson (Dolls), and Tim Rozon (Doc Holliday) stopped by the SYFY WIRE studio along with series creator Emily Andras to dish about what it was like filming this season's big reveal.
"I told [Emily] way before I should have told anyone, and she already had ideas," said Scrofano. "And she was like, you know, we can use whatever you're actually going through, we can put that in the show."
Of course, Wynonna's pregnancy is causing some big changes and challenges for her co-stars as well. To find out more about how this is affecting Doc and Dolls, check out the video below.
