A select group of white and black hats just experienced a real-life Westworld down at Austin’s SXSW, but now fans can take HBO’s simulation series with them wherever they go. How futuristic.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Westworld, a mobile game based on the show that was announced back in January, is now accepting pre-registration for its 2018 release.

The game sets the player as a Delos trainee in a park management-type game similar to Sim City or Roller Coaster Tycoon. Except way, way more evil. The game will allow players to assume total control over the operations of the simulation, which includes caring for the AI hosts and managing happiness of attendees.

Take a look at the teaser:

That staticky trailer seems to imply imperfection even in the game’s control - which means that players could face uprisings and rebellions similar to that in the show’s first season. Either way, having it installed on your phone (Android or iOS), seems very Black Mirror-y

Jonathan Knight, Vice President and Studio Head at WB Games San Francisco, said that fans will be developing “their own unique strategy to orchestrate and explore the perfect park experience.” Which could involve planting a mysterious trail of breadcrumbs to entice some players or simply adding more Radiohead music to the saloon piano.

The only real way to find out with a property this drenched in mystery is to play. As an added bonus, if you pre-register at http://www.westworldmobile.com/, you’ll earn special bonuses once the game fully launches.
