Who wore it best, Phasma or Tarth? Gwendoline Christie weighs in at Last Jedi premiere

There was plenty of geeking out at the red carpet premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in Los Angeles, not only by fans, but by the cast as well. In particular, Gwendoline Christie was gushing over the custom-built Nissan Maxima made in the likeness of her Star Wars character, the villainous Captain Phasma, who was last seen being forced into a trash compactor by Finn, Chewie, and Han. It's just one of seven vehicles that the Japan-based car company built in tandem with Industrial Light & Magic as tie-ins/promotional products for the eighth movie in the franchise. Christie tweeted about the Phasma car a week before the premiere and then spoke about it on the red carpet, having passed it right before doing an interview.

"I'm heavily into the merch," she said. "And I don't know what it is I have to do to get that car, but I would really like the car." However, since the vehicle shaped like Phasma's shiny helmet is one-of-a-kind, it may be just out of her reach, even for a high-ranking member of The First Order.

The actress also weighed in on the costumes she has to wear for Star Wars and Game of Thrones in terms of diffuculty to put on and favorability, with Phasma's fashion coming out slightly ahead.

"Phasma's armor, initially, it seemed daunting. But like anything, all it takes is practice, and I was soon slipping into it like a salmon moving through water," she said. "I love the Brienne of Tarth armor. It's beautifully designed, but I'm afraid I think the Captain Phasma armor might have the edge."

Brienne is great and all with her protection of the Stark children, but she doesn't have a car made after her, so we don't blame Christie for siding with Phasma. Besides, everyone in GoT already has horsepower in the literal sense.
