Wreck-It-Ralph 2: Disney digs into its toy chest of characters in latest trailer

Mr. Litwack finally joins the 21st century by installing Wi-Fi in his arcade, allowing Wreck-It Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) to explore the World Wide Web.

That's what we knew about Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2 up until this point, but the latest trailer shows us just how deep the rabbit hole goes. Disney Animation is really digging into the company's vast treasure trove of properties like Marvel, Star Wars, Winnie the Pooh, Pixar, and every Disney princess one could imagine.

A good chunk of the new preview is devoted to Vanellope convincing Snow White, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Moana, Belle, Mulan, Ariel, Elsa, Anna, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida that she's also a princess. Things get weird when the characters start listing the requirements for Disney princesses: being cursed, kidnapped, enslaved, and poisoned.

"Are you guys OK?" asks Vanellope. "Should I call the police?"

Finally, Rapunzel asks a question that pokes fun at the biggest "damsel in distress trope" of them all:

"Do people assume all your problems got solved because a big, strong man showed up?"

When Vanellope answers in the affirmative, all the gathered princesses exclaim with glee: "She is a princess!"

Here's the latest poster as well:

Aside from the clever references to Disney properties, the sequel also looks like it will accurately portray the different facets of the Internet in new and fun ways, from the minor annoyance of autocorrect, to non-stop tweeting, to the sheer amount of information available on the web.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2 will give us the Wi-Fi password when it hits theaters Nov. 21. The movie was written by Phil Johnston and Pamela Ribon and directed by Johnston and Rich Moore.
