Fans and critics agree: Green Lantern wasn't the bestest-ever movie based on a comic book. But that's not stopping the president of Warner Bros. from considering a potential sequel.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Warner Bros.' head honcho Jeff Robinov has said:
"We had a decent opening so we learned there is an audience. To go forward we need to make it a little edgier and darker with more emphasis on action. ... And we have to find a way to balance the time the movie spends in space versus on Earth."
Green Lantern received a mere 26 percent approval rating on the aggregate review site Rotten Tomatoes. But more importantly, the movie has so far earned only $154 million out of the $200 million it cost to make.
Do you think the world needs another Green Lantern, a darker version of Hal Jordan's heroics with the Green Lantern Corps?
Or are we stuck waiting a few years for the inevitable reboot?
