“You’ll Never See Him Coming.” The first very cool teaser image for the upcoming Predator movie sequel (not a reboot!) has been unleashed by the film’s official Facebook page.
Never see him coming indeed!
The poster was introduced with the line “Here we go again, bro,” revealing also that the official title to the 1987 movie sequel is The Predator. Fun fact: That line was uttered by actor Bill Duke, who played Mac in the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.

This first promo image is as good as confirmation that the movie has been greenlit by the studio, although it’s not officially on 20th Century Fox’s schedule yet, and it's way too early for any casting news.
Shane Black (who played Hawkins in the original Predator movie) has co-written the film with Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad, RoboCop 3), who revealed back in December that the script had been handed over. It's expected that the Iron Man 3 director, who came on board the project with Dekker back in 2014, will helm the movie.
What gives me a sliver of hope about The Predator is that Shane Black previously called the film an “inventive sequel,” adding (and that's the most important part): “Why start over, when you’ve all this rich mythology yet to mine?” What do you think?
