It's a prerequisite that Warehouse agents are brilliant, but unfortunately, most of them are also highly unstable. Such is the profile of an agent named Hugo, who lost his mind somewhere around the time he created a security shutdown device for the Warehouse, which Pete and Myka have inconveniently triggered.
Hugo was so brilliant that he imbedded half of his mind into an artificial intelligence system run by a hologram called Hugo One. Hugo One is not only a comprehensive and ruthless killing machine, but also controls an army of killer toys, like electronic eyes that shoot lasers. If we didn't like Pete and Myka so much, we'd probably root for Hugo and his Eyes.
