4 Head-Scratching Moments From Z Nation Season 4 Episode 11

Z Nation is filled with WTF. From Zombabies to Z Weed, to Zombie Balls, this show has flipped the script on the whole zombie genre. But for every time that the Liberty Bell was weaponized, for every "Cheese Wheel of Death", there's been an equally head-scratching moment that was overlooked. These are the moments that stand the test of time for pure irreverent weirdness, and this blog is an ode to those moments. Behold! The moments from Season 4 Episode 11 that you may have overlooked, but are weird AF.

1. Since when did Z Nation go all "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas"? Head wound aside, this is plenty of nightmare fodder for weeks to come.
   
   
   

   And it turns out that Dr. Teller sealed their son (Andrew) in a glass box on life support. Murphy says he understands, he'd give anything to keep Lucy frozen in time. It's all quite sad.

   
    
2. Umm ... **choking back tears** Citizen Z is back?!
   
   
   

   Meanwhile, up at the Northern Lights station, Kaya and Citizen Z are looking for any information they can find on Black Rainbow. They're desperate to tell Roberta and the gang that it's a "fourth strike weapon.".

   
    
3. Something about Sarge in the Hazmat suit seems off. She should be evoking the Z Nation version of Street Fighter's Guile, not Fallout.
   
   
   

   The team gets the radio working but it keeps cutting out. They finally make the most difficult choice and divert the power from Andrew's life support to the radio so they can speak with Kaya and Citizen Z. When Sarge can't do it, Roberta gives him mercy.

   
    
4. And for one split-second you can almost see this as a family road trip. No Zs in sight, just a bunch of friends going to visit the Grand Canyon for winter break.
   
   
   

   In order to shut down the Black Rainbow plan, the team needs the thumbprint of the President. And so, they head out in the van, on their way to Washington DC. Will they make it in time?
