Emily Hampshire

A Montreal native, Hampshire can be seen starring in two vastly different television series at the same time. Emily portrays fan favorite ’Stevie Budd' in the Pop/Netflix comedy series “Schitt’s Creek,” opposite Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara, for which she has received multiple Canadian Screen Awards. In addition, Hampshire’s portrayal of ‘Jennifer Goines’ in 12 MONKEYS has garnered numerous accolades and acclaim for her performance in the character first made iconic by Brad Pitt. Emily has also received a Golden Maple Award for her work on both 12 MONKEYS and “Schitt’s Creek.”

This past year, Emily shot “The Life and Death of John F. Donovan” with Jessica Chastain, Natalie Portman and Kit Harrington from celebrated director Xavier Dolan. She was also seen in Darren Aronofsky’s new feature “Mother!” as well as the lead in the indie “Never Saw It Coming.” No stranger to the Toronto International Film Festival, Emily has had eight movies premiere at the prestigious festival. In 2012, she received the Birks Canadian Diamond Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her career and work in David Cronenberg’s “Cosmopolis.” Emily has also been named an ‘International Star You Need To Know’ by Variety as well as being featured on the NextGen Canada list by The Hollywoosd Reporter.

Emily currently splits her time between Toronto and Los Angeles.
