Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman is a cross-generational hit, and it seems the entire world is under Gal Gadot's spell as she hurtles across battlefields and braves the immortal evil of Ares.

Capitalizing on this fevered interest in the Amazonian princess, a new comic series from Dark Horse is pairing her with the Hyborian Age hunk, Conan the Barbarian, to determine the fate of these classic combat-tested warriors.

It's a six-issue mini-series crossover between the two licensed characters from DC Entertainment and Dark Horse, written by the fan-favorite Wonder Woman creative team of Gail Simone and Aaron Lopresti, delivering Robert E. Howard's charismatic Cimmerian to a strange new world, where he eventually comes face-to-face with its most notorious gladiator, Wonder Woman.

Here's the solicitation synopsis for Wonder Woman/Conan #1, charging into comic shops on September 20:

What makes one a legend? How do legends carve their name into history, when countless others are forgotten? Wonder Woman and Conan the Barbarian are destined by the fates to be legendary, but when their stories collide, will both emerge victorious, or will the fickle Gods cut their lives short?

"I love crossovers, I love Wonder Woman, and being able to bring the undisputed greatest warriors of the DCU and Robert E. Howard's Hyborian Age together for the very first time is a dream come true," said Simone in a statement. "A major draw is getting to reunite with the great Aaron Lopresti, whose very favorite things to draw are Wonder Woman and barbarians. It's blades and bracelets, wizards and wonder and I couldn't be more delighted."
