The episode ends with Doc tending to Vanessa, who is rapidly descending into bitterness and despair. Unbeknownst to Vanessa, Doc later cuts her own finger and ravenously sucks on her own blood. Uh-oh …

Between Aftermath, Van Helsing, and Z Nation we've learned a few things about how to handle ourselves when the world goes to crap. Whether it be the zombie apocalypse, the vampire apocalypse, or all the apocalypses, take these lessons to heart, because they could save you in a pinch.

Aftermath Episode 5

  1. Safety First



    Ask people if they plan on ripping your face off BEFORE you kiss them. 

  2. Be Polite



    Don’t call people “booty” in front of their husbands if you’re not their husband 

  3. Choose Well 



    Don’t befriend a feverhead possessed by a Skin Walker.

    ... Good ol' trusty head shots are always the way to go.
     
  2. Got your back turned?



    . . . odds of being evil are roughly 100%
     
  3. Like a fine wine



    ...     you never really lose your taste for blood.

Z Nation Episode 6

  1.  Elvis is still the King 



    ... and to be honest, was he ever not?
     
  2. Nurses must die! 



    ... in the most excruciatingly painful way possible.
