Can we all agree that the entire world of Candle Cove is terrifying? Okay, great. To cap off Season 1 finale, here are five moments that had us reaching for the covers and the light switch and our mommies.

1. Kids.

Well, this is horrifying. These kiddies look way too eager to be taught or something. Also? What in the bloody hell?!

2. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 



Well, this is alarming. Chart this at the top of our worst nightmares: being trapped inside of a dimly lit hallway (that's located inside of a grimly plotted children's show, no less) with someone as rational as this guy.

3. Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Fiery Hell 



Well, this doesn't look safe. We gotta give it up to Mike, he held it together a lot better than we would have.

4. You Have to Go Inside



Well, this literal and terrifying. In just about every episode this season we kept hearing the same ominous line "you have to go inside". Leave it to ole Skin Taker here to show us exactly (and grossly) what going inside looks like.

5. The Eyes Have It



Well, this is destructive. And we thought we had trouble accepting bad news.
