1. Detention with The Breakfast Club: Behold the iconic detention scene from the beloved, '80s movie with a Deadly Class twist. Thanks to their behavior at the dance last week, Saya and Marcus, Petra and Viktor, Chico and a random kid named Jaden find themselves confined to 48-hours in teen purgatory. And on top of that, they get their weapons taken away from them. Boo!
2. Unexpected Alliance: Maria knows she needs to get away from her abusive boyfriend, Chico, so she asks Willie to help her get a fake passport. Though he's a bit guarded at first, Willie's tenderness is shown to us again when he agrees to assist. This moment highlights Willie's sympathetic nature as he softens up to support a classmate with a different affiliation from his own.
3. Robot... or cop? Robocop: Typically, Viktor and Chico definitely don't run in the same circles, however, Viktor's confusion about the critically-acclaimed American film, Robocop, sparks a friendly debate. In an episode full of near-dead and deadly moments, this is the levity we needed.
4. Saya and Marcus Sitting in a Tree: Here, Marcus comforts Saya after she deals with the trauma of having to kill her cousin to protect herself. Sweet right? 5. Shabnam's Parents Return: The parentals finally return to find their home TRASHED and still housing some unwelcomed visitors... Unexpectedly, Shabnam's dad looks at the brightside of things and is just happy his son has some friends. We're starting to see where Shabnam gets his sense of humor and earnest disposition from!
