Our Top Looks: Season 10, Episode 10

We've got our eye on these mighty Cyclopses.

By Bryan Enk

Let's get a little cultural with a quick quote from Book IX of Homer's The Odyssey:

How to Watch

Catch up on Face Off on Peacock or the SYFY App.

When the Cyclops had filled his huge stomach with human flesh, and had drunk pure milk, he lay down in the cave, stretched out among his flocks. Then I formed a courageous plan to steal up to him, draw my sharp sword, and feeling for the place where the midriff supports the liver, stab him there.

While there was no devouring of human flesh, drinking of milk or stabbing of liver in this week's episode of Face Off (as far as we know), there was many a stretching Cyclops (and we do mean stretching -- all of the models were between six-foot-four and seven-foot-two!). Let's see take a look-see, travelers.

Season 10, Episode 10: "Keep One Eye Open"

Top Looks (Judges):
Melissa (Winner)
Rob

Our Top Looks:

  1. Melissa

Melissa's Cyclops was inspired by a dragon. And we do like dragons, ye gods and goddesses.

    Dragon Cyclops. So mighty.

He doesn't want no wimpy milk. He wants fire.

Look at that armor. Not a chink in it, unlike, say, Smaug's. That guy was a punk.

Excellent good, Melissa. May the fertile earth produce you rich grape clusters for your work.

  2. Yvonne

Yvonne's work was deemed merely Safe by the judges due to its efficient if somewhat uninspired design, though it's the 'classical' look that we like with this.

Plus, he's Satan's blacksmith. Come on. You at least get an A for Effort for taking that route.

Always ready to forge a piece of ironworks for the Prince of Darkness.

The ceiling of his shop is obviously very high.
