Our Top Looks: Season 10, Episode 11

Do you know the difference between a Draenei and a Tauren? Welcome to the wonderful World of Warcraft.

By Bryan Enk

Do you know the difference between a Draenei and a Tauren? We certainly did after watching this week's episode of Face Off, in which the artists were charged with creating iconic creature characters from the massive multiplayer game, World of Warcraft. It's all in anticipation of Summer 2016's big-screen adaptation, Warcraft, with cast member Robert Kazinsky on hand to guest-judge the results.

How to Watch

Catch up on Face Off on Peacock or the SYFY App.

While we agreed with the judges' top two Top Looks this week, we challenge which look was, well, topper than the other. On to Azeroth!

Season 10, Episode 11: "The Art of Warcraft"

Top Looks (Judges):
Walter (Draenei)
Mel (Troll)
Rob (Tauren)

Our Top Looks:

  1. Mel (Troll)

Glenn claimed that Mel's Troll would be the 'fan favorite' of the night, and we couldn't agree more. This is, through and through, a Troll from World of Warcraft, come to life!

The shapes and coloring are absolutely spot-on ...

... as is the hair! Mel claims she's no good with hair -- phooey!

Here's a comparison to the game character. Pretty spot-on, no?

Way to go, Mel! Now we know what character she'll be if she ever starts playing WoW.

  2. Walter (Draenei)

Our number-two choice is most definitely the evening's official winner. Walter's Draenei is a stunning creation, even outside the context of World of Warcraft.

Look at the dark wisdom in those eyes, the exquisite detailing of that face!

The cowl is impressive, too; regal n' ragged at the same time.

Oh, and he has a tail. Tails rule.

Here's a comparison to the game character. Walter's somewhat grittier, more realistic approached served his work well.

Way to go, Walter! You're an official citizen of Azeroth.

Next Week: Season 10, Episode 12: "Skull Island: Reign of Kong."
