Our Top Looks: Season 9, Episode 9

The artists went to the end of the world to fashion their own Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

By Bryan Enk

After the slam-bang madness that was last week's "The Gauntlet," Face Off simmered to a dull roar as it took the artists to the end of the world and tasked them with creating one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Season 9, Episode 9: "Judgment Day"

Top Looks (Judges):
Evan (Death) (Winner)
Nora (Famine)

Our Top Looks:

  1. Jordan (War) (Safe)

Is it us or did pretty much every artist forget the whole "Horsemen" part of the challenge? Yes, there were some amazing characters on display, though we couldn't picture any of them on the back of a mighty apocalyptic steed.

Except for Jordan's War character. This guy definitely looks like he rides a horse. And what a beautifully freaky face! Or … non-face. Or … whatever's going on with the visage there.

  2. Evan (Death) (Top Looks; Winner)

Yeah, we agree with the judges on this one. Evan's interpretation of Death was just all sorts of stunning. And he even comes with a cool mask, making him ideal for his own action figure (hear that, Hasbro?):
