Hunters also alter their appearance somewhat during The Great Hunt, covering their faces with masks and using bladed weapons. It's something of a theatrical performance … maybe the Hunters are attempting to recreate the more primal, primitive existence of their homeworld?
Finally, we analyze the particularly painful audio torture inflicted upon Regan during her time with Musa and Abby. Sometimes having sensitive ears isn't really a good thing!
