Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, the sequel to the 2005 noir film Sin City and based on Frank Miller's comic-book series, will be hitting a city near you on Aug. 22, 2014. And just like before, we'll be watching tough-talking guys and tougher-dressed dames looking for their own brand of justice. How do we know? We've seen it in the clips.
These 10 clips, which give us 30-second bursts of colorized black-and-white intensity, have been scattered across the Internet. We've collected them for you below. In them, you'll see some familiar faces and a few new ones as well.
The visuals are as arresting as they were in 2005, and the story seems equally gritty.
Pity about the ridiculous misogyny that runs through Frank Miller's work, though (and I'm not the only person who thinks so).
