Summertime is approaching, and for many that means a refreshing, heat-beating family trip to the local public pool. For others, like the two trapped girls in this new trailer for director Matt Eskandari’s 12 Feet Deep, it means a weekend of sheer terror held captive at the municipal swim center. If you're at all afraid of swimming pools, deep water or being contained in a strange wet place against your will with a psychotic janitor lurking nearby (and who isn't?), then this new promo for a new chlorine-filled indie horror flick might deliver some watery nightmares.

Here's the official synopsis:

Inspired by true events, sisters Bree (Nora-Jane Noone) and Jonna (Alexandra Park) get trapped beneath the fiberglass cover of an Olympic sized public pool after it closes for the holiday weekend. They find themselves at the mercy of the night janitor, Clara (Diane Farr), who sees the trapped sisters as an opportunity to solve a few problems of her own.

Oh, it also stars Saw alum Tobin Bell, in case the premise wasn't creepy enough. Pop on your water wings and cannonball into this intriguing new trailer for 12 Feet Deep, and tell us if it makes you want to stay in the jacuzzi.

MarVista's 12 Feet Deep floods VOD on June 20.
