CBS has released a sneak peek at its upcoming series Under the Dome. Based on the novel by Stephen King, who also serves as executive producer, the show explores what happens when a group of people are cut off from society. Under the Dome takes place in a town called Chester’s Mill, which is trapped underneath a massive barrier. No one can come in, and no one can go out.

According to actress Britt Robertson, who plays Angie McAlister, "Two thousand people secluded. It just gets pretty scary very quickly." In the promo we see blood-soaked hands and a body being dumped into a grave. The isolation must be making everyone a little stir-crazy.

Under the Dome also stars Mike Vogel (Bates Motel) as Dale "Barbie" Barbara, former Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre as Julia Shumway and Supernatural's Colin Ford as Joe. The series will run for 13 episodes and is slated to premiere in June.
