Over the past few months, Warner Bros has given us sneak peeks at the superhero lineup for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Unfortunately, they've been radio silent when it comes to the film's main villain. Today they switched it up and decided to shine a light on the Big Bad, Lex Luthor.
Director Zack Snyder says, “He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure. Other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.” Many were wondering if Eisenberg would take the plunge and cut off his curly locks, and it looks like he did.
Snyder continues, “Our Lex is disarming, and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there." Now if only we could get a photo of Luthor alongside Superman. We'd love to see those two going toe to toe. Alas, we'll take what we can get. Check out Luthor's solo shot below, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters March 25, 2016 (that's exactly one year from today).
What do you think of Eisenberg as Luthor? Do you think he can deliver?
