Olivia, Walter and (M.I.A.) Peter dominate the latest Fringe poster—but they're not alone. The trio is joined by not one, or two, but FOUR of those pasty, beady-eyed Observers!

The poster's tagline is "New Beginning. New Dimensions," which proves producers Jeff Pinkner and Joel H. Wyman's statement about season four being like "a pilot episode." In a way, the characters are starting over, which attests to the new-beginning part. But what about the dimensions?

So far, the Fringe team has only worked with one alternate universe, so why is "dimension" plural? Is there another one out there as well? Or are they just referring to the two? And what the heck are the Observers hiding besides Peter's existence? They're up to their fedoras in this mess!

As for the heavy ripple effect used in the poster, it obviously illustrates the aftermath of Peter's disappearance. But judging from the last promo trailer, Olivia has a feeling that something's off. Her Petey sense is tingling, and it's only a matter of time before she realizes what happened.

Fringe premieres Friday, Sept. 23, at 9 p.m.
