Move over, vampire TV shows and zombie dramas, because here comes one of the most classic horror stories ever told: Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. NBC has just ordered Do No Harm, a new drama series based on that classic tale, and we already have our first look at the series.

Do No Harm is described as a new medical drama starring Rescue Me's Steven Pasquale, but it's not gonna be House and it's not gonna be ER, because this show has a neat little twist to it.

See, the dude's a neurosurgeon who has a Jekyll-and-Hyde personality. Yep. He's Dr. Jeffery Kohl by day but goes by Ian Price when his Hyde personality comes out, and his Hyde alter ego will (of course) wreak havoc on both his personal and professional life.

It's not the first time Robert Louis Stevenson's Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde has been adapted for a modern audience in a modern setting: Doctor Who and Sherlock showrunner Steven Moffat already did it with the superb Jekyll back in 2007, which starred James Nesbitt in a brillantly chilling, dual performance.

Will NBC's Do No Harm be anything like to Moffat's Jekyll? Guess we'll find out this fall, since NBC has ordered a full-on season. Will you be watching?
