275 of the most amazingly bad sci-fi book covers ever published

Okay, to be fair: There might be even more than 275 on this British blog, dedicated to collecting the best of the worst sci-fi book covers—and classic authors like Robert A. Heinlein, Ray Bradbury and Isaac Asimov don't get away unscathed.

Lots of things can go wrong in the span of time between a writer handing a manuscript to his publisher and a book being released to a (hopefully) buying public. But the most visible of them is an absolutely horrendous cover. The gang over at Good Show Sir have taken it upon themselves to amass the worst of the laughable worst and examine them with an art director's eye.

Seriously, you'll get lost in the horrible colors and dodgy illustrations and scantily clad Viking babes holding laser pistols while riding winged dragoncorns into rainbow-star vortexes. Here are some of our favorites, just to wet your whistle.
